who decided what
gets produced in
hollywood and indiewood
couldn't be living
in the woods at all!
no! they must all be living
in the same elite
neighborhood, hanging out
at the same elite
restaurant, eating
the same meaty entree!
wait!
and maybe they actually
believed
that all the
women and men in
the whole wide world
really were
like the characters in
their scripts and the musos
in their bands
- that everyone
in the entire universe
actually shared their
exact same fantasies!
hmmm... wait!
were these movies
and this music their
therapy? and were we
destined to pay
money for their
pathological entertainment
forever?

holy cow!
maybe these
guys really
thought
that because
they
wanted to be (or be with)
a cowboy
all
guys did!
and that
because the girls
they
grew up with
weren't allowed to
be heroes
that
women
just weren't
interested
in that
sort of thing!
maybe
they really
believed
that
"bad"
was
good
and
good
was
boring!!
good grief!

maybe there
had been
a disconnect
between
the entertainment
establishment
and the rest
of the
entire planet!
gasp!
could this be true?
maybe they
had become
just like that
other jet set
of ambitious,
powerful
image makers
- politicians!
- plump and
happy and
very very
powerful and
very very
controlled
by very very
mega
companies!
(and, wait a minute,
didn't they all hang
out together?)
WHAT was going
