one of the really really rough days
this is my shooting shedule for one of the hellish days that started at 7 am and ended that night at 1 am (in my apartment) as you can see, we ran all over the city shooting non-dialogue scenes with the arri s camera (no sound) to be used in the various montages in the film. i ended up not using scenes 31 & 12. as you can see, i love filters (they're the things that say coral, soft FX, 1/8 BPM - black pro mist (makes your actors look great with no makeup - not that mine needed any!) i also like using lots of different film stocks because i think that each one has a different texture and different mood and just like you'd use pastels versus oil or pen and ink, you wouldn't use 7293 when you needed a 7297 look! yeah, yeah, i am a techie when it comes to the camera (just don't ask me to fill out sheets) i ended up shooting the scene where the father (kevin corstange) goes into young kalin's bedroom with my hi8 camera, not a fisher price, which is a cool old kid's camera i'd shot stuff in before.
