John Adams writes back on April 14:

A Recovery and Wellness Facility for Gender War Victims

When the French philosopher Alexander de Tocqueville visited America in 1830, he reported that what made it a force to be reckoned with was the underlying belief of its people that they all were created equal. What he didn't report was that this belief was held applicable to only a small portion of American society. Not surprisingly, a huge chunk of those excluded from equal treatment over the course of our history - women and children - now make up the majority of this and every other country's poor.

insite believes that it is impossible for women to achieve equal qualifying times in the race of life if they have to carry the shackle of thousands of years of unequal treatment with them around the track. We also realize that the team of humankind is much weaker if it is deprived of women’s talent due to their oppressive treatment – not only because they deserve as much respect as men, but because it is they who usually raise our children. We need healthy women to raise healthy men and women if we want to start addressing at a root level the causes of our world’s problems.

To this end, we will establish the Global One Co-op, a recovery and wellness facility for women suffering from the effects of gender injustices such as battering by men (aka domestic violence), rape, incest, sexual trauma, sexual objectification, gender discrimination, gender harassment and poverty. 

Global One will focus on both the individual and the systemic roots of female depression, self-abuse, low self-esteem, post-traumatic stress disorder and disassociative disorder and start work with the children of these women so as to stop the cycle of self-hate. Equipped with illuminating new research on brain/nervous system development and emotions, Global One will seek to find creative new ways to address the complex issues leading to self-abuse through drugs, alcohol, eating, cutting, sex and other compulsions and will seek to develop state-of-the-art programs in art and music therapy, which will be administered at insite's Global Music Colab..

Who knows, we may even be able to get them a decent pair of running shoes...
